I am super behind on blogging! Here's a little of what we were up to in August.

Ford and I took an anniversary weekend trip to New Orleans while Michael stayed at Gram and Pop's house. Gram bought him a hat that he wears EVERYWHERE!







We worked some in the yard with Daddy.

 



 

 



We ended the month with a bang. August 31st was the one-year anniversary of the day we got our referral for Michael. So we celebrated with family, friends, LSU, food and cake!

 

We got this beautiful cake from Aly B's Bakery!

July 2012

July was busy, busy for us! Michael spent a week with Gram and Pop and Uncle Blake. They all had big fun! We blew bubbles and read books with Uncle Blake and went swimming with Pop. Michael loves the pool.

Michael moved up a class at daycare. Here is a picture of him in his new room on the first day. It was harder for Momma than him. ;)

Michael got his first haircut since he's been home with us. It was an experience - he screamed the entire time.

We took a trip to New Braunfels, Texas with the Childers' to meet Uncle Eddie, Aunt Lupita, and cousins Camila and Constanza.

June 2012

Michael turned 18 months June 4th! He is growing so fast and learning all sorts of new things.

We started June off with cousin Sophie's birthday party. Michael "stole" one of her presents for the afternoon. ;)

Here we are just a swingin'!

Michael is definitely not afraid of the pool! We took him swimming for the first time in a big pool, and he loved it.

He sacked out after swimming. ;)

We celebrated Daddy's first Father's Day!

May 2012

The last two months have flown by! Summer is definitely here, and it is hot! Michael loves to play in the backyard with Daddy and is loving the water.



My birthday was May 10th. ;) Thank you to Daddy and Michael for making it a great one!

Instead of us traveling to south Louisiana, Gram and Pop came up here for the long Memorial Day weekend. Here are lots of fun pics!
